Archive Incomplete Vol. 1 was first produced as a physical zine to accompany my poetry readings: a DIY form that could be made cheaply, passed from hand to hand and taken away.

This online edition keeps that same spirit, making the work freely available both to share the archive more widely and, I hope, to inspire other people to make, gather and publish their own.

Through poems, photographs and archival fragments, Archive Incomplete begins an ongoing poetic archive of the Firs Estate in Bromford, Birmingham: a record of place, demolition and survival, and of the traces that remain when official histories move on.
